Bmw 320d M Sport ‘edition’ Requires

Hello! Welcome to the sale of my brother in laws 2011 320d . A lovely ‘edition’ spec car that he has owned since 2011 (1 owner) and as you can see by the photos it’s a great colour with lovely leather seats and a automatic gearbox. This car has only covered 150 thousand motorway miles.I have been using the car since November 2021 – as he had purchased a new vehicle in September and had it sat at home – I was between company cars so I have borrowed it with a view to sell it at some point this year.Whilst driving it last week a noise developed on the engine and an orange lamp illuminated on the dashboard. I pulled over to the hard shoulder and by the time the car had come to a standstill the noise was a lot louder and a red warning light came on before I switched the car off. I telephoned for the AA who sent a chap out who looked the car over and told me not to start it and it required further investigation that was not possible at the roadside.He lifted the car and it was brought back to my drive where it has since sat. After speaking to my brother in law we have decided to offer the car for sale as it is. I telephoned our mechanic who stated these engines are bullet proof but a common failure is the turbocharger or the chain that drives…
