2012 62 Ford Focus Zetec 1.0 () – Engine Running

We are selling our family car which we have owned since 14/08/2017 due to it requiring repairs.Approximately 2 weeks ago, the oil light came on. This was topped up with oil but the light stayed on. It was driven a short distance to work before the brake pedal would not apply so the car was stopped with the handbrake.2 mechanics have stated that issue is due to a vacuum oil pump ceasing, therefore replacement required. They have also advised that they believe the timing belt will need replacing as a result. They have stated that the engine itself is sound and is not missing or anything.As the above is based on others opinions, inspections are more than welcome.Other than the above, the car has always proven to be reliable.Please note cosmetically, that there is rust to the left hand side of the tailgate and the upholstery does require a deep clean.Again, more than welcome to view the car.Low mileage @ 57kRecent MOT, expires 09/08/2024The car is worth approximately £5k private sale.I would recommend the car is recovered due to the issues.
