I’ve had this car for 6 years and it’s the very definition of ‘well loved’! It does still run and has MOT until next July. I’m a parent to 6 kids and a dog walker by trade, so the car is rough. PROBLEMS: The main issue is that it needs a new turbo. No sugar coating that, the turbo vanes are FUBARed and sticking and the engine keeps going into limp mode because of this. You’ll know when this happens because a big scary light comes on the dashboard that says ENGINE MALFUNCTION and will frighten the shit out of you the first time you see it, but you can just turn the engine off and on again and it’s fine. Wiring problems: the passenger window doesn’t always work from the driver side switch. The passenger rear door doesn’t always unlock on the central locking. Assuming some wiring wants replacing. This car comes with the ugliest 16 inch alloys you’ve ever seen. The passenger side one has a slow puncture that keeps on coming back, even after a new tyre was put on. I suspect it’s something to do with the rim of the alloy. Dirty- the car is absolutely filthy inside. I’m not sure if the children or the dogs are worse to be honest, but you probably wouldn’t want to get in if you’ve not had your inoculations. Bodywork- shocking.
