Bodywork has some dents. Alternator has failed, but otherwise in good running order, but will need to be towed or trailered until new alternator fitted. Hairline crack in rear near-side brake drum, but doesn’t (yet) affect braking (hand-brake). Engine will start, and can be driven for short test-drive if the battery has been topped-up. Interior is good – no tears to seats, and all functions working. Air-bag light has come on since last MOT (1 month ago), but likely a sensor issue. Needs new navigation DVD. This is the top specification for Honda CR-Vs of that year, and is a bargain waiting to be bought! This is an excellent option for either repair or spares; it only needs a new alternator to be fully functional again; after-market brand-new alternators are available from £100 inc. vat, so not expensive for a self repair.
