I got this car a little over a year ago now and when I got it, I got absolutely taken for a ride with it. I paid way over the odds for it, as I was assured it had full service history and so on and so forth, one careful owner, all the usual stuff. It is very clean inside and it felt nice to drive but gradually I found myself having to repair a lot of things. I’ve no grudges against the previous owner, I think their local garage was just not doing the work they had quoted for. Sure it had all the stamps, but the air filter was black as anything, as was the oil and the likes. Basically, it had been negelected. It has in the past had a lot of welding done to the underside and it has been undersealed too.It ran absolutely fine really, as soon as I got it home I did the cambelt and water pump, tensioner and idler etc. I have been on a lovely holiday to Scotland in it (last picture) and it drove that faultlessly. Its been an INCREDIBLE car for the fuel economy. I have worked it out that it gets 69MPG…
