Peugeot 307 1.6hdi Spare &

This car is for Spares or Repair.The car has a MoT till the 30th of July – and was in regular use until around a month ago when the engine stopped running suddenly and has not started since then.There are two ignition keys and I have the V5 in my name.When I investigated the problem, I realised the wipers, washers, electric windows, radio, display and one or two other items were not working these were all working up until the engine cut out. Suspecting all these items are linked together with the reason for the engine having stopped I suspected the fuse box. The fuse box is also the cars body computer – so I suspect this needs to be replaced.Although I am not certain I believe to replace the fuse box/body computer – the cars ECU will also have to be replaced along with the ignition key. The Radio may also be programmed into the body computer, so I believe a complete ECU/body computer/ignition key kit will be needed to get the car running again.So this car is for spare parts – unless you have the technical know how to change all the parts listed above.The car will have to be towed away or collected on a car trailer of some type.When the car had 129,000 miles on the clock I had the cam belt replaced and also the clutch was replaced at this time.
