2006 (’56 plate) Volvo C70 T5 SE LUX (Manual) for sale.Selling because I’ve put a lot of money into this car, I’ve got x2 other cars so a 3rd that I barely use doesn’t justify me keeping it, especially if it’s got a dodgy head gasket.Will be as honest as possible so you can make an informed decision. I am not a mechanic but will answer any questions I can truthfully and say ‘I don’t know’ if that’s the case.Bought last year – had a LOT of work done on the car to get it back to performing as well as it should. Had every intention to make it a project car with 300bhp but using a managed approach of getting all of the foundations of the car sorted before modifying parts (as you can see on the list of items done below). It’s always had a slight rumble on idle since I bought it and with each sensor I replaced that got progressively better, especially after the engine mounts were replaced. I’ve never had a T5 to compare it to, so this could be a characturistic of the engine. Over the past 2 weeks I’ve noticed the coolant level dropping but without any visible trace of leaks (I put UV dye in the coolant to trace it).
